Hi there! Welcome to Saturday Styles, your weekly guide to practical, relevant, and sleek product recommendations. Here are my top picks this week based on what I’ve been loving for my clients, my closet, and everyday upgrades.
*This week’s Sat Styles is all about Argent. The womenswear brand that joined me in St. Louis this week for two style-packed days of events. We kicked off Women’s History Month in St. Louis this week with two back-to-back events. Their visit and these SALON x LKS events were made possible thanks to partnerships with Husch Blackwell, Closet Factory, ACG St. Louis, The Women Lawyers’ Association of Greater STL, and Commerce Bank + Commerce Trust.
I wanted to share Argent with you from this lens because I love and believe in their brand. I work with many brands and am considerate about going this deep with any single one, but they are worth it from my seat.
Argent, founded by Sali Christeson in 2016, has come to the forefront of many of my client’s closets and my own. Why? Quality for price, strong fit profiles for dynamic bodies, thoughtfulness in construction (like the elasticity built into the sleeves so you can push them up without them falling), and the pieces are just stylish enough without being too trendy, therefore transcending aesthetic preferences. Plus, they understand that no two women are alike and that we all have unique preferences—just look at their Instagram page, and you’ll see what I mean.
I wore their double-breasted jacket and wide leg trouser suit in powder blue for my TEDx talk last year, not only because I loved the color, cut, and fit, but because I was comfortable in the material and felt like myself; their suiting is timeless and yet relevant, and also because of what they stand for for women. My values align with theirs.

Some great news…

In the spirit of shopping + styling, I’ve pulled together three featured Argent pieces shown in two different styled looks (with more from the brand), from my POV. I’m here to answer any sizing/styling questions you may have, just simply reply to this email and it comes straight to me. Argent is typically true to size, you might consider sizing up in their trousers.
1 - Versatile Blazer
Petal pink or ballet slipper is having a comeback this spring. Watch out, it’s about to be everywhere. If this is your color palette, you’re going to have a ball.
Copain Blazer — a double-button stretch Italian wool suiting material that’s light weight enough to wear into the summer and transitions year-round.
Left — Push up the sleeves on the jacket and wear the knit untucked or tucked for a cooler denim concept.
Argent Knit Tank, Jenny Bird Loire Necklace, AGOLDE x High Rise Stovepipe, Margaux The Demi Jane
Right — A chic monochromatic moment.
Argent Cowl Neck Blouse, Sisley Paris Phyto-Eye Twist All in One Eyeshadow, Argent Single Pleat Trouser, B-Low The Belt Roma Leather Belt, Sarah Flint Perfect Pump 85

2 - Convertible Trench Dress
A transitional weather piece that moves you through all seasons.
Trench Dress — wear it as a dress or a duster vest open all the way, or just buttoned toward the top. True to size.
Left — Layer the trench dress for cooler days with a t-neck and tights.
Mejuri Jojo Pendant Necklace, Argent Knit Longsleeve Turlteneck , Toteme Mini T-Flap Leather Crossbody Bag, Inez Marisol 70, Wolford Satin Touch 20 Comfort Tights
Right — Open the buttons and wear the pieces drapaed as a spring duster vest. Front tuck the top + no need for a belt with every pant with loops.
Argent Cowl Neck Blouse, Jennifer Fischer Natasha 10K-Gold-Plated Mini Hoop Earrings, AGOLDE x Riley High Rise Straight Crop, Inez Paz 70 Stretch

3 - Statement Trouser
Take your pant game to the next level with this saturated color for the season. It’s an everlasting blue tone that works with lots of neutrals and event some brighter colors if you like that approach to styling.
Straight Leg Trouser — Their new hero pant, it’s straight with a subtle flare out toward the bottom. I personally cut 3” off mine so I could wear them with flat loafers. Suit up or pair down for a fun pop of color in luxe lapiz.
Left — Three piece suited up in this electric color. Pair with black and minimal gold accessories since the suit will lead the look.
Argent Chelsea Blazer, Sisley Paris Phyto-Rouge Shine, Argent Waistcoat, Margaux The Louisa Loafer, Clare V Grande Fanny
Right — Don’t be afraid to break up suiting and pair with a loafer and a knit for less formal days.
Argent Knit Longsleeve Crew, Jenny Bird Mini Florence Earrings, Madewell Triple Metal Keeper Belt, The Row Large North-South Park Leather Tote Bag, Margaux The Andie Loafer
Use code LKS15 at checkout for 15% off your order. Argent does accept returns on full-priced items should you need to make a change.
Offer valid now through March 31, 2025.
The anthem video is spectacular as is the suiting — thank you for the introduction to the brand!
