Hi there! Welcome to Saturday Styles, your weekly guide to practical, relevant, and sleek product recommendations. Here are my top picks this week based on what I’ve been loving for my clients, my closet, and everyday upgrades.
SPRITZ & GO
A quick and effective solution to remove wrinkles from clothes without needing an iron or steamer. This works on most materials, from cotton to blends, and can be applied directly to wrinkled garments — just spray, smooth, and go. It lets you refresh your clothes in minutes, making it ideal for busy schedules or last-minute preparations. I wouldn’t spray it on silk, though. Check it on materials before you take it with you to know that it will work in a pinch. Don’t overspray ;) Downy Wrinkle Releaser Spray All In One Wrinkle Release Spray Travel Size (2-Pack), $7.99.
TRACK IN REAL-TIME
Some airlines let you track your luggage after check-in, but not all. If you’re an iPhone person, you can get ahead of the game and keep tabs on your checked bags with this quarter-sized device. I have one in my carry-on roller as a caution for the dreadful instance I must gate-check. Apple AirTag, $24.99.
TAG, YOU’RE IT
For those who love the analog luggage identifier, these silicon tags stay secure on your luggage (checked or not) with a steel loop and have a privacy covering on the back that only reveals your name when attached. They come in a handful of colors, but this cool teal caught my attention — the bright hues ensure you don’t miss your bags on the carousel. Ovener Silicone Luggage Tag with Name ID Card 2-Pack, $7.99.
CATCH YOUR ZZZ’S
Many years ago, while traveling to Alaska, I realized that a sleep mask is one of the greatest items to include in your travel kit. I learned the hard way when there was 19 hours of daylight. Be sure to keep this within a hand’s reach for prime snoozing whether you’re en route on trains, planes, and automobiles or once you’ve reached your destination and are unsure of the room/window setup. Silk is ideal, too, as it’s soft on your face, with an extra oomph of luxury. Slip Silk Sleep Mask, Charcoal (One Size), $42.30.
STAY PLUGGED IN
If you’re like me, you quickly run through juice on your devices while in transit. I carry two wireless chargers with me, and this one is my main source of portable power. It’s a little bulky, but it’s packed with the necessary ⚡️. It has three standard USB ports, so you can charge multiple devices - typically, my phone and headphones case plugged in. It supports more than just Apple devices. Anker Power Bank 26,800 mAh External Battery, $42.50.
