The requests for best travel recommendations have been rolling in a lot lately. I’ve rounded up my latest favorite products, mostly under $200 and many under $100, for a polished, casual, comfortable, and functional travel attire this spring season. The full look is linked here. I’ve added a few notes on each piece featured below. Reply directly to this email to ask me any fit/sizing questions. Happy travels, and always wear it well! x L
Clockwise from top:
& Other Stories Utility Jacket—I love this jacket so much that I have it in two colors. It has deep snap pockets for your phone, wallet, AirPods, chapstick, you name it. Cinched inner waist toggles with good coverage over the backside. The style is oversized, so I’ve sized down one for a more snug fit.
Toteme Monogram Wool Cashmere Scarf — Neck scarf, shoulder shawl, evening wrap, plane blanket. Take this staple anywhere for multi-use.
Krewe Matte Oyster 24K St Louis Sunglasses — Updated glam shades.
Uniqlo U Crew Neck T-Shirt — A medium-weight cotton crewneck that is thick enough for coverage (aka, no see-through white tee) but not too heavy-duty in the material. It’s a standard length, fitted, but not too snug to the body. I have it in white, black, charcoal, navy, and tan. They’re under $15.
Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré — I don’t go anywhere without this now (in travel size & the larger tube). Moisturize your hands, arms, face, etc., especially during dry air travel. It doubles as a face milk for cleansing off the travel day.
Banana Republic Crop Flare Everywhere Ponte Pant — These have been beloved by many and not the right style for some (which happens). Pull on medium-weight stretch pants in a kick-crop flare with a pintuck front detail. They’re elevated for travel while feeling like being in a sweatpant. Means they’re machine washable, too. Stocked in black, navy, and charcoal in petite, regular, and tall lengths. Get them while they’re hot and 40% off!
Vans UltraRange™ EXO Sneaker — A few clients challenged me to find them a cool/stylish sneaker they could wear for travel and touring — matching a travel wardrobe — while also slipping into them for low-impact hotel workouts. The catch, they needed to fit into their carry-on. This is the answer. I even took them for a spin for a long walk in the park a few weeks ago and was satisfied. Half size up if you want to wear sport socks with them. Available in men’s and women’s sizes.
L.L. Bean Zip Hunter’s Tote Bag With Strap — This was at the top of my personal holiday gift list because I wanted a durable bag with a tote and shoulder strap. I opted for the camo, but this classic green goes with anything. I put all my small bags inside this bag in the “Large” size. Zip it up and head to the airport. Fits under the seat in front of you.
Bonus! Ondo No Show Socks — These are the ONLY no-show socks I buy/wear/recommend. They actually stay on.

Read / Watch / Listen
📖 Page Turner — Finally making my way through the fan favorite, "Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow” by Gabrielle Zevin. When I posted a photo about starting it last month, the responses from friends and how much they loved it flooded in. I’m devouring it and having difficulty putting it down.
🧣 Tie It On — When considering wearing your silk scarf, have this side cowboy knot and classic kerchief with a twist knot bookmarked for styling in a pinch.
👜 187-Year Legacy — Laying out the timeless (and fascinating) allure of Hermès through the lens of generations past and present, where every stitch tells a story of elegance and legacy. For any luxury lovers or business pod groupies, listen to four (yes, four!) hours of it on the latest Acquired podcast. It’s worth it.
