Summer has started, well, thanks to Memorial Day weekend, the unofficial start to summer has kicked off. Days are getting longer, the sun is glistening, and travel is revving up.
Having returned recently from a trip overseas, I'm registering (in hindsight) how much this time away was needed. You could use some time away, too. I don't need to get into the horrific news you've been reading or suggest ignoring it. But taking yourself outside your normal day-to-day is some much-needed medicine. It will kick in on the return more than you realized and knew you needed.
Take some time. Either a week, weekend, a day, or an hour. To allow yourself to change your scenery and give yourself a reboot.
