Hi there! Welcome to Saturday Styles, your weekly guide to practical, relevant, and sleek product recommendations. Here are my top picks this week based on what I’ve been loving for my clients, my closet, and everyday upgrades.
*Sometimes, it’s the simplest of products that impact recommendations most. Here are some of those items from my Amazon cart. Totally unglamorous, yet practical.
Compact Mirror with LED Lights — I was gifted this compact last year and ordered another one, so I have options for a few of my tote/travel bag kits. The LED light on one side is a bonus for beauty checkups. The light can be turned on/off.
Salonpas — For when I’m traveling a lot or Pilates got the best of me, I stick one on for the day and let it do its work. Mark travels with these, too. You can cut them into smaller strips so as to not use the entire 8” x 6” patch.
Temperature Control Mug — My tea tends to get cold fast, so I decided to do something about it. Also makes for a great gift.
Creaseless Hair Clips — When I’m getting ready, these low-profile clips help keep my hair out of my face when layering on the moisturizer before my makeup routine.
Lip Balm — On restock, I go through this in the winter like clockwork. Aloe infused, Hypoallergenic, Paraben + SIlicone Free. There’s one of these in all of my bags.
Wildly Hydrating Cream — I use this on my face and on my body, too. It’s not sticky; it’s creamy yet lightweight and absorbs really well. Another one of those products where I have one in a few of my bags and various bathrooms. My clients fill out a form and include their beauty routine. Kiehl’s by far exceeds all other brands from this aggregate perspective.
Pretty Notebook — A blank-paged journal for all your musings. I write a lot down. I prefer to write on paper but have moved some of my transcribing over to the iPad. For special reflections, I use these notebooks. Slim, fun-colored, and smooth paper to write on. They stack up well next to one another when storing pages that have been filled.
